What kind of additions/modifications have you made to the cab interior of you M939 series? Things like USB charging ports, center console, custom seats, iPad mounts, etc. Pics if you got 'em!

Mine has dual air ride seats. Drivere seat is a euro version. 24v heated as well. With a center toolbox. I had to redo mine cause of my shifter for the CAT transmission. It is also setup to sleep comfortably in. The shifter does pivot forward out of place. Air conditioning is nice though, about 3 tons in the cab.

* Two MRAP air ride seats (second best upgrade in summer, best upgrade in winter)
* Red Dot AC unit (best upgrade ever)
* Hard top, converted from soft top
* 24>12v inverter to run all 12v electronics
* plywood back wall that serves as the electronic hub. Inverter, fuse blocks, back up camera receiver module etc.
* Rear facing camera monitor where a rear view mirror would go (highly recommended)
* ceiling mounted rack/console that holds
- VIC 3 radio w intercom
- cell phone interface to VIC 3 to make/receive calls over intercom
- white interior light w/switch
- red interior light w/switch
- plenty of real estate left over for future top secret projects
* Battery shutoff switch
* USB port for cell phone charging
* center console with 3 cup holders. Currently removed and being redesigned.

Things I have bought ... may not get around to installing any time soon. It’s too hot right now to do anything.
* stall mats on the floor. Some heat still comes up through the floor
* Old school Rockford Fosgate amp w/kicker sub (meh ... we will see)
* Redesigned center console with cup holders, will be the electronics hub, with relay panel for lights and winches, battery compartment, etc. I learned what I want from my mistakes on my first console.
* CB radio mounted on the ceiling center console.
* Bose stereo with 6” navigation screen. Planning to install in the all new redesigned center console.
* cell phone holder

There are some Items I am considering, but not sold on, like iPad navigation and installing some super secret sound deadening

I really like that rear view camera setup. Can it switch between GPS and camera modes?

It does not have GPS capability. It does have the option of adding 3 more cameras though. I bought one for the front, not installed yet.

Could a front camera record your trips like a dashcam or is it live footage only?

Mine doesn’t, but I’m sure someone could figure it out. I think my module has RCA out port ... or is it RCA in? I dunno. I use a dash cam instead.
