Exellent! I have the gears, but they are sitting in garage. That needs to change.

Parted out an M1078 this past week that saw better days, trying to use every part of the buffalo if I can. The M1079 box is finally getting a semi-permanent base so I can actually use it and will start piling up all the scrap into the M989A1. I'll be using the regeared M1078A1 to pull the M989A1 to see how it handles with a reasonable load behind it. That box is deceivingly heavy every time I lift it. My M936A2 will do it but I can feel the weight lift off the front axle, the M1089A1 will lift it with ease at a greater distance but the outrigger is a must or it will tilt the truck off one side of tires.

I'm planning a building to house my M1079.
Coming in at a right angle, how much room is needed to turn the LMTV into the door?
It appears the turning radius is 35' per the TM. Does that mean a 20ft pad is sufficient to make a 90 degree turn?

Lmtv turns really well in tight places
Data spec sheet say 55.4' curb to curb.
I'm trying to keep the pad in front of the 36' wide garage as shallow as possible... I don't mind a little maneuvering to get lined up with the 12' wide door, so can it be done in 30' ???

New glad hans on all 4 corners. Philips brand. Front: easy. Rear: PITA through frame fittings seized. Some schedule 40 zinc fittings present. Upgraded windshield
wiper blades to PIAA silicone. Previous wipers went bad very fast. Silicone will last around 10 years. Working on replacing washer lines in wiper blades tonight.
