Guys thank you so much for all the input. This clears it all up for me. As they say a picture is worth 1000 words. Seems like a quick fix to an expensive possibility down the road.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Shroud halves need to be off as well as the intercooler tubes. No need to remove radiator or coolant hoses. It's a much easier job with 2 people also. It's easiest to remove the clutch air line and fitting then slip the fan over with the rubber on the hub.can this job be done with radiator still in or do you have to drop it for clearance to get fan out? suspect shroud has to be removed.
rubber if still have arse good comes out attached to fan correct?
yep.Is this the rubber bit that needs to come off?
Yes, I have the whole thing. From what I’ve read, finding a new style clutch is pretty easy. Finding a fan that fits it though is tough. Has anyone found a vendor selling the new style fan yet?
We get it, advertisements are annoying!
Sure, ad-blocking software does a great job at blocking ads, but it also blocks useful features of our website like our supporting vendors. Their ads help keep Steel Soldiers going. Please consider disabling your ad blockers for the site. Thanks!
