That already happened 5 years ago. Someone had them on ebay for about 6 months. Army never put them on trucks.

They look cool but if you get into mud they will be very difficult to clean on the inside.

They're fairly easy to install but if you go into deep mud they will retain it. I think they look neat and protect the hoses from branches and stuff.

I've been in mud at rally and had no problems , they have fairly large slots.
I would rather deal with the mud than knocking a wheel valve off on a tree or rock
And they look great on the truck

No mud issues with mine so far.
They are hard to find these days (or not worth the price asked for the few out there).
I debated making some replicas out of fiberglass, but decided against it since they would just be cosmetic.
I did share my solution for standoffs with a FB user who was going to make some simple flat CTIS covers.
Don't think he ever followed up on it, though...
