This handle is in my cab "right knee." Air lines running to and from. As I have a 1088 (hitch removed) I imagine it is the trailer hitch lock release but this is only a guess. I would like to know it's true function and how to remove it and not mess up air routing to other items. Thanks in advance
Trolley valve, for the trailer brakes without using the brake pedal on the truck to engage them.
It has a supply air line to it and the line out of it goes to the supply line for trailer brakes. Trace the supply line back and plug it. Trace the supply line back and plug it.
Or buy a pipe cap style fitting for the air fittings and cap them at the lines there and tie them under the dash
