This is very heavy i cant see hooking it to the fiberglassMy luverne brush guard came with cables that attached to the hood grille and held the guard upright when closed. When you opened the hood, the brush guard lowered itself as the hood tilted forward.
I think they were repurposed from a slantback rear hatch.
No rattles and super convenient.
Post pics pleaseIt actually attaches through the metal hood grille frame and fiberglass underneath . Not an issue at all.
I didn't even see in that other pic , now i do lol, so does the weight of the guard help lift the hood? Very interesting
