Neat shot, especially in contrast to the smaller fuselage ("smaller", but not small) just in front it.

Wow. That AN-225 is a Beast.
This "Beast" exists in one copy. Very expensive to operate. Not cost effective.
Ukrainians have sold production documents to China recently.
Although yes, the plane is unique.
Russia is currently developing the heavy Elephant aircraft. Let's see what happens.

The MiG25 and the MiG29 are my Favorite Russian Aircraft.

But now I also like the MiG31 and MiG35.

There is an old saying that has stuck with me for many years. And it is attributed to former Chief of Soviet Navy
Admiral Gorshkov; "Perfect is the enemy of good enough."

You can always improve a system, design.

cucvmule, these newer aircraft are nice, but being that I'm a little long in the tooth, I still love the aircraft of my youth. The MIG 21 & the Vought F-8. These aircraft were the last of the gun fighters. The missiles were air to ground, and Air Combat was settled with 50 cal. machine guns, and 20mm cannons. Pilot against Pilot...…..no computers.MIG-21.jpgF-8E .jpg

In Novosibirsk was restored the legendary MIG3 . He was found in a swamp.
There are 3 flying aircraft in the world.
