Taking me to the call, feel bad for her and possibly provide me some answers.
OK I know speech to text can be bad but that was pretty pathetic!
Hey gang, new to the site, so thanks for the add. I appreciate your looking at these issues I have with my new truck and any answers you may be able to provide. I recently picked up an M715 a couple of weeks ago. One of the things I wanted to do right away was to install some freewheeling hubs on the front axle. I have not done too much research into the vehicle before I got it, but some of the early information I saw said it had a Dana 60 front end and a Dana 70 rear end. I knew from my previous experience with working on cars several decades ago that parts for both of these differentials would be readily available. Once I went to pick up the truck to put it on the rollback I saw the front and rear differentials a little more closely and realized that neither one of them was a Dana product. I then thought they may have been Rockwell axles, but looking on several sites at M 35 Rockwell axles I see the differential Drive section is mounted on the top. The axles I have have the traditional pumpkin insert from the front and rear, so the U joint is in line with the drive axles.
Which axles does anyone think that I have?
