To my knowledge, there is NO OEM fuel strainer available for the MM. It was unique to the vehicle. On mine, I put a new gasket on the bottom access panel to the old strainer area and sealed all the bolts, knowing I would probably never remove it again. For the intake tube inside, IF your tube is still in good shape, then just remove the strainer and leave the tube assemble intact. My tube was completely rusted away. I got a new fitting for the top, and silver soldered a new intake tube to it the right length. I have installed a standard inline fuel filter just prior to the pump. You could install it pretty much anywhere in the line, I chose the pump location. Works great.
