Anyone dealt with Iron Planet in Junction City, KS? Now with 2 lots 6/10/21

Won a palletized item, and the address comes back to seemingly a junk yard on a dirt road... not even sure its correct, or that a tractor trailer can be sent into retrieve my item.

The junction city lot is at the end of a gravel road by a junkyard.

A tractor trailer can pickup there. I dont know if they will band loose items or not. Might ask Chris. His # 502-794-96eighteight. Customer service gave me area code 520 which is wrong.

Loadouts are typically Tuesday thru Thursday. But need to make sure as they are moving to a new location soon and may not be there certain days.

If you send a freight carrier there will be a restricted pick up charge. Chris is the TPOC and works with you.

Just got back from a frustrating trip to central Ks
Won two items both listed at
(Location Junction City, Kansas), I hand my paper work over asking for the tow bar first and pallet of tents 2nd. Takes off on Fork truck and comes back with tents???? Stated he needed to check something and gives me the bad news that it is at the new lot. I think no big deal as it was
going to be in Junction City less than a mile down the road.
WRONG!!!
Turns out, the new from the ground GP lot is South West of Abilene KS, 1/8 mile from BFE!
2175 Deer Rd , Abilene, KS 67410 The vintage Spoke is no longer there and only 33 miles between locations.

So when you call, ( I text) Chris 502-794-96eighteight for a PU time make sure you ask what lot your lot is in.

I've dealt with them when I bought my 5 ton BMY several years ago. Just goto the main entrance, show the guards the paperwork, they will do the background and fingerprint check, then call the person. Then they will give you directions.

This is no longer relevant. They have two yards, neither is on Post.

What 98G said. Two yards, one next to the Junkyard on Hoover Road, Junction City and the other farther, 33 miles west on I 70, SW of Abilene , 2175 Deer Rd. Check with Chris on locations. If Chris's mail box is full then send a text. The lots are now stating which location they are in, but I would still check before going to pick up.

Ft Riley GP updates, I made appointment to pick up a mis labeled haz mat containment basin that was listed a shelter, pic of the NSN below, and not what I got! (anyone need a 11X19 kiddypool/).
It was listed to be at the Junction City lot, I contacted GP for pick up date and time a and got a go,
I got out there a 8am and the GP lot had been removed lock, stock and barrel, nothing, but a clean level gravel lot!

The scrap yard owner across the street stated they had been gone about 2 weeks.

I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to bump it so people know this is still a problem. I was looking at satellite view where my Junction City purchase was, and I noticed there was a pump house type structure in the auction picture background that wasn't there on satellite view. A little Google search found this thread, and then street view revealed that pump house in Abilene where the truck actually was.

I contacted GP asking about it, and the reply was they sometimes take pictures at one location and load out of others, but they'd look into it for me. Never heard back. Once the trucking company started scheduling pickup they did verify I was right. That would have been a headache for the driver and another charge for me had I not found this thread.

The main Junction city (Ft Riley) Gov Planet lot is and has been moved farther west to outside of Abilene, but there as been some HMMWV stuff that it's Location is in Augusta, Kansas, United States.67010 which is about 2 hours south of he GP lot and Ft Riley. Always look for the location on the sales page!
