Former Artillery truck looks like…crane is obviously aftermarket…🤣
It came with a bullet hole in the front fender, empty .50 shells laying in the frame behind the cab and chunks of metal sticking out of the tires. So if it was artillery they were to far forward  Also has weird headlights with infra red emitters built in that have a high and low beam function. Some other odd parts too. Needed the crane can't lift the spare all on my own with out it.

The M11330 is a RUC number for a Marine unit, the truck beings to 3rd BN, 11th Marines which is a artillery unit stationed in 29 Palms CA. The brass is probably from a range when it had a turret on it, we get those a lot where I work with .50 cal and m-240 brass. That truck does not appear to have had the armor installed on it, but I would have to see a picture of the underneath of the cab or a picture of the front shocks to tell for sure.

It has holes drilled all around the windshield frame and the doors do not appear to be the ones it came with, cab has doubled up shocks and doesn't give much as is, in fact never felt it move yet. I am learning the truck from the ground up so all I can tell you is what I see. It had a heavy multi connector cable running thru it, cut in several places when we got it and some interesting mounting holes on the dash directly in front of driver and passenger seats, as well as the cable coming out thru a slot cut in the fuse cover panel. infrared lights switch is a rotary thing that was just laying on the engine cover under the dash, was not done in the style as the rest of the wiring.

Biggest pain I have is left rear stop turn light refuses to work, dead at the firewall connector, I am thinking the issue is in the main gauge cluster as all the inputs, flasher, and stop switch work. My half assed wire tracing seems to indicate those inputs pass thru the circuit board on the back side of the gauge panel. I just have not aired it down (disconnect the air gauge) so I could take the whole panel out and trace it all thru. Any guidance you can give would be greatly appreciated.

The double up shocks is normal. If drilled holes in the gram then it may have one of the old original armored windshields.
mas for the turn signals, more than likely it is the turn signal cam. Turn signals do not go thru the circuit board behind the cab. Just the turn signal indicators.Do the 4 ways work and the brake lights?

I Have been working on the MTVR for 18 years now, I used to work for Oshkosh as a FSR in Iraq….I have done pretty much everything to them.

Right rear brake & turn work, front turns both sides work, flasher only runs the right front, I have not pursued that issue yet (flashers)

Left rear Brake does not work. Used a can of contact cleaner on the turn signal switch removed pound of sand seems to work with better "feel"

Power from Circuit Breaker to Flasher to Cam to turn signals…..have to look at my schematics
Is that path crossed with the brake lights? I have traced the signal to the turn signal switch and back put for left and right flashers. What I would give for the page of schematics. this has consumed several hours of my life.

Brake lights connect with turn signals only in the turn signal cam. I cannot show you actual schematics but I may be able to draw it out.

Took My truck to meet up with a friend and one of his Unimog's. At the Central Wyoming Machines Gun and Cannon Shoot https://www.cwmgshoot.com/
Had fun shooting some Guns and talking about military trucks. I know the persons behind this event and they would really like to get a Rally setup for military vehicle owners. I am pretty sure we can get some fun things set up - they do camping on site and have food trucks- as well as setting up some kind of rally point in Casper and convoying out to the shoot site. We may even be able to set up some events like truck pulls or demo trail or something. Is any one INTERESTED? This Happens well out of town on a large ranch with great mountain views. We could set up a Friday motel with large parking area reception followed by a breakfast and a convoy either over Casper mountain and down the dirt road (3000 ft. climb and decent) to the site our take the highway along the Oregon trail (easy way, smooth highway) to the site and then Camp out over night after a day of shooing the shit and guns. The event is a fundraiser this year it was for Hunting for Hero's Wyoming https://huntingwithheroes.org/ Check it out! The other two pictures are from years past, this year didn't do a lot of picture taking. Bucket list items I have crossed off at this event: shooting a .50 M2 From WWII Half Track, Full Auto M14, and several others. They are always looking for more vendors and people who want to rent use on their guns, somebody please bring a Quad .50! Let me know so I can save up ammo money!
