Hey all, picked up my beast a few months ago, a lot was done to it, still needs stuff and I’m working on it. Installed fridge, toilet and microwave which pretty much completes the inside. Just working out bugs as I find em. Drove it home 720 miles from TX to NM with minimal issues. Got various small leaks- air and fluids, broken studs in alternator bracket I still need to get out, some other little stuff for now. This site has been a great source of info, hats off to everyone here.

Heck of a nice truck! I really like the inside of your box on the back too!
Welcome to the outfit!

That 720 mile trip and safely done with no real trouble is a great confidence booster! If you go on a quest for air leaks, house air into the red glad hand will pump up the air system without the noise of the motor running. If you don't have "house air" cranking the truck to build air, then turning it off and spraying everything in the vicinity of a "hiss" with some dawn and water in a spray bottle will speed up the search.

Don't hesitate to grab (download) your copies of the TM's for your truck too. Having them in portable format if you get stuck on the side of the road could be really handy. They are terribly DRY reading, but searching can get you to the right spot if you need info. And again, welcome to the group!

Nice build, are you a bird hunter? I'm planing to take off to the mid west to live and hunt out of my truck this season.
