I’ll in search oh a new made DC voltage regulator. Does anyone have one available?

Lol gotcha! But I’m trying to find one that is new made not the NOS. The NOS seem to not last and fail prematurely!

I am only aware of aftermarket AC regulators for these sets (made by SS user Triple Jim). I think you are stuck with the DC regulators as-is.

What you need to do is place your request in a Parts Wanted Thread. As per forum rules. I believe Tripple Jim makes AC and DC volt regs.

I would contact @Triple Jim to see if he might have any more left or planned. His were reported to be better than OEM and carried a warranty as well.

As of April 11, 2022 he did not show any listed in his SS classified ad but a PM would be worth a shot.

I thought I had read before that he made a DC unit, but saw no mention of it on his website... so I assumed it was just crossed wires on my part. Hopefully Jim can get you what you need.

Before DavyGray posted here he contacted me. I referred him to Triple Jim but apparently Jim is not making the DC voltage regulators anymore. I've had similar problems with the NOS regulators, they work for a year or two and die again.

Some sort of 24 volt charger plugged into the 'convenience outlet' should work as well, right?

Or two 12V chargers/maintainers. That way each battery gets exactly what it needs from a charging/maintenance standpoint.

The NOCO GEN5X2 (supports 2-12V) & puts out 72Wx2 max, battery capacity 120 ah. I recently bought 2 of them for 2 of my generators, for maintaining their batteries, and am very impressed with build quality and performance so far.

The NOCO 5X2 uses a single AC plug so yes you could plug into your convenience outlet, with one outlet to spare, while running genset. When back on utility power you can then plug into an extension cord or wall plug to use in standby maintenance mode.
