OK, now see if you have switched 12V at the TCM wire 291D, pin i
You can also look to see if you have 12V switched at the brake switch wire 810A
and the trans. light wire 667B
how do all the connector pins look?
Sorry for the miss information, I do Not have readings at 3, 810A 0r d and a at tcm

If you do not have 12V at pin 3 of the relay (in run position) then see if you have 12V all the time on pin 4, if you do the relay is not being activated or is defective, see if you have 24V across pins 1 and 2 in the run position, if yes then the relay is bad.

If you do not have 12V at pin 4 all the time then the power feed to the relay has a problem.

I have 24v at 3 and 4. I will have to get a new relay.

290A connects to the transmission circuit breaker, it carries 12V directly to the TCM (12V all the time) turns into 537B, it also is spliced to 290B which carries the 12V to the relay pin 4

So if you do not have 12V on pin 4 (290B) then back up to the circuit breaker (290A) and see if you have power there.

No, I am getting 24v at pin 3 and 4.
290A 281 537 is one plug on the relay and the other is 290 291 537 with no alpha code, and no volts from them.

Later to the party.... Is one sure of the connections in the battery box. I have seen where wires, terminals, lugs were cut up. The 12 volt lead hanging loose with the general thought (wrong) well it's a 24 volt truck and OPPS. Bad idea.

I have a three speed, so it's a guess off of the print or the count is off on the relay. Disconnect the transmission controller till one gets the 12 Volt slave relay figured out, imo.

The wires marked with 290C and 290B should be going to pins 3 and 4 of the relay, there should not be 24V on those pins
wires 67T and 29T should be going to pins 1 and 2. and that is where you should find 24V (29T) and ground on (67T)
pull the relay and see if you have continuity between pins 1 and 2, should measure low ohms but not 0 ohms.
This should all be clear in the schematic above.

1= 24v

3= 0 in the on position
4= 0.9
OK, are you measuring to ground?
If so then you should find the breaker for the transmission and see if there is 12V there, should be on both sides, we will worry about the relay later.
