Hi everyone, do you need to use a post seal on your wix 33336 filters when used on a fuel filter adaptor kit, as i see that fleetguard supply the extra post seal.

Hi everyone, do you need to use a post seal on your wix 33336 filters when used on a fuel filter adaptor kit, as i see that fleetguard supply the extra post seal.

If you leave out that seal it is able to bypass dirty fuel to the clean side through the threads on the spud. The seal is needed.

Thanks for the reply , i will have to look and see if wix sells the seal separately as they are not supplied with the filters
