So, nice pictures. The casting numbers may help some of the guys ID it for you. Is there something wrong with the one you have? And how about a picture of the Engine ID Plate? That might help with identification too.

Nothing wrong with it. I just wanted specs. I'm curious, i have the pump turned up a little bit and it only builds about 6 psi of boost at max and spools very quickly and cools down very fast.

The original reasoning for the turbo wasn't really for speed or fuel efficiency. Strangely, it was to cut down on the smoke so that the trucks didn't give away their position from a distance. So I am guessing you have a whistler? They definitely improve performance but not as much as you might think. AND that isn't a bad thing. If you are blowing a column of black smoke, you are just wasting fuel with this particular engine. That also "washes" the cylinders making it hard to keep enough oil on the rings. Wear and Tear... Not good.

Based on your description it sounds like a really good truck to me.

It's not a whistler. I wish it was. I know it's an older turbo known as a B series. I'm not rolling coal, it's turned up enough to start better. I'm not running hotter than 900° under load. It runs great. I was just curious about the turbo specs.

If you are looking for wheel sizes there is an old thread I remember reading that had them listed. Try google searching Ldt turbo specs or something of that nature.
