bed toppers that fit a M1008

I have been looking for topper for my CUCV and in my area older caps in decent condition that are made for square body's are hard to come by.

Are there any other truck caps I should be looking for? Will a cap from a 07-13 silverado long bed work? How about a Ford super duty?

A couple companies make Jeep-like soft tops for pickup beds. My wife had one on her Tacoma for years.

I’ve heard 80s to early 90s Ford caps will also fit a Squarebody. I don’t think anything newer will fit as bed heights changed. I got lucky found a cap for sale on the side of the road, don’t know what it was originally for but it fits really well. Not the best condition but $50 and good enough for my occasional use. Marketplace or Craigslist is probably your best bet.

Bestop does one for an 86 Ford. Check the dimensions of bed vs bed.

Put a "want to buy" ad on Craigslist, you'd be surprised at whats still sitting around out there!
