Hey all, new to the LMTV's. Got our 2003 M1078A1 through government surplus for my police department. I am needing to replace the winch cable as it was snapped when we received the truck. Don't figure there is any way to get a new end starting at the undamaged part of the cable. Only lost about 6'. If anyone knows a way to repair, or what cable is needed to reaplace that would be helpful. I can use NSN numbers to try to locate another through the surplus program. Thanks in advance for the input.

A cable bridle and rigging company can terminate cables.

I would be concerned on what they did to snap a cable and probably replace it anyway.
