Looks like a fabulous job and as if done at the factory. One question, where did you source all of the extra switches. They look identical to the factory switches. Only place I could find them was overseas and shipping did not make it conducive to a reasonable purchase.

Rome truck parts. They sell SKF 511 series switches.

All,

Does anyone have any opinions on what other gauges they would add of any? I have 1-2 open depending on if I add a second fuel gauge. That is still a remaining question. I am contemplating a CTIS pressure gauge, EGT, transmission temp, indoor/outdoor temperature, charging amps…..

can someone comment on this?
Thanks!
I've got a c7 that I want to put the highest factory tune on, so for me if I had a spare hole it would be an EGT gauge. XMission temp would be the other I would run. I plan on running an aux fuel tank, but am just going to run an xfer pump to the factory tank so it's level will pretty much always be a known quantity.

The EGT is on top of my list..

Out of curiosity, where would you tap in for the EGT? Are there bungs already or do you have to drill and tap something?

One solution is two EGT ports/probes because there is a "wall" cast in the exhaust manifold collector. The disadvantage is double the cost on probes and dual channel gauge. The advantage is you get EGT from front three cylinder and rear three cylinders. Not as good as measuring every cylinder but it can help diagnoses by narrowing to three cylinders. This is a 3116 so I can't speak to the other motor's manifold layout.
