I'm trying to find the correct rebuild kit for my '88 M998 alternator, it's the 60 amp model

I found 2 kits, both from Prestolite, 2920-01-168-4129 and 2920-01-168-4130, but have no idea which one I should get

Any advice would be appreciated!

why are you rebuilding, damaged threads on rotor? failed regulator, broken case?

Actually I’m not really looking to rebuilding it anymore, I was worried because the v-belts were flapping a lot at idle even if they are nice and tensioned, and thought that the pulley bearing was going for good, turns out belt flap is apparently normal at idle and so is the vibration/shakiness of the alternator itself

No the alt. should not be vibrating or shaking, you need to check and possibly replace all the mounting bolts (front and rear) ASAP
