Just bought a 2009 mep 802a 5kw generator, getting power to the convenience receptacle but not to any of the lugs. Tried changing the phases and mv switch. Any suggestions?

Can you elaborate a bit? What else have you tried, and what exactly have you done? What does the AC contractor do? What troubleshooting steps have you done from the manual to troubleshoot?

Did you close the contactor switch?

The S5, (interrupter switch). When you pushed it up, did the DS7, (AC interrupter light) come on?
