For beginners,

I would check R2 and S5 and R31

A11 CT 4,5,6 R2 AC Circuit Complete.jpg

The next question would be:

Was this Generator converted to Single Phase (@sewerzuk) ?

If so, make sure you adjust R2 Voltage Adjust Rheostat to 208 VAC across the two phases ( L1 and L3) and not 240 VAC or higher!

The A11, repaired or original, was designed for 208 VAC

When you adjust to 240 VAC then J13 M and L are too high. T2 Primary connects here and 240 on primary will put out 138 VAC on secondary.

Further, CT4 CT5 and CT6 are going to be in a imbalanced state after swerzuk's conversion.

All three CT's are connected to a Three Phase Transformer T1 and directly to CR 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, which form the Boost Circuit with Q5 and VR3 on the Voltage Regulator Board inside the A11

@catienla

Mike, you need to post of what you are emailing me here as well. Otherwise, everyone is in the dark and we cannot help you.

Mike wrote via e-mail as he had e-mailed me before he posted this thread:

Mike:
Tried to run MEP004. It is only producing 87.5 volts on all 3 phases. Is there a way to adjust the voltage higher? When I ran it after last repair I measured 25

My Answer
Voltage Adjust Rheostat on front panel. Is this Genset converted to 1 Phase?

Mike's Answer
Thanks for your reply. Genset is not converted, using L1 and L3 for 220v. Rheostat doesn't change voltage on panel meter. Maybe I should have turned it and checked with a meter.

I think sometimes my mind is my worst enemy. I have been running this unit on two leads voltage at 220 vac since 2011, maybe this is why all my problems started. I knew it was 208 v but it did not register. When it produced 220-230 v this is what I used. I think I created my own problems. I'll check the circuits Peter listed and reply. Thanks to everyone for your help. I need it.
