My mep 804a reverse power light won't turn off
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Yes the contactor is open I able to reset it but it comes back on.When running and the is contactor OPEN is the light on AND you can't reset it on the Fault Indicator panel?
I'm not using in parallel with another generator I'm getting it ready in case I need it in a couple of days.I assume you are not going to be using the generator in parallel with another generator.
I also assume you NEED this generator putting out power now due to no utility power.
If so, you might try the following.
Mark the present setting of the Load Sharing Adjust.
Loosen the locknut on the Load Sharing Adjust potentiometer and adjust it 90 degrees clockwise and try the generator.
If it's still throwing Reverse power fault then turn in 180 degrees counter clockwise. (90 degrees counter clockwise from its original setting)
Try the generator again.
If it's still throwing the Reverse Power fault put the Load Sharing Adjust back to it's original position and tighten the lock nut.
Post up your results.

I'll be sure to try what you suggested if it happens again.I'm not using in parallel with another generator I'm getting it ready in case I need it in a couple of days.
I will try what you suggested in the morning I'll let you know.
