I'm finally in the market to make a custom exhaust with T304. Unfortunately I don't know what size would be best to help EGTs. I have read too large will hurt EGTs. My question is what would the optimal size be? I'm looking at doing away with the J pipe and going strait out and up.

I went with the stock size which I believe is 3”, goes under the cab and up behind the cab like an 18 wheeler. Keeps the noise in the rear view. Works great with 185 hp LDS power.

That's been my plan as well, only I was hoping to build a sleeper type box in the front of the bed and then have the stack behind that.
