M1123 trans code 37 stuck in limp mode

Hey guys, I've seen several posts that were similar to my issue, but each had slight differences.

I have an issue with my rig going into limp mode with a blinking transmission light. Sometimes it will start shifting normally after driving for a while then restarting, but this is not predictable. I'm getting a DTC of 37 which is TCC Brake switch stuck on.

Should I just install a new brake switch, or is there anything else I should check first?

The switch for the transmission works backwards compared to the brake light switch, they are in the same housing, the brake light switch has two individual wires and the brake/trans switch has a two pin molded plug.
So code 37 means the switch is open all the time whereas it should only be open when the brake pedal is pressed, it is a PITA to get the two balanced, where the trans switch and the brake light switch work properly so do not forget to check for proper brake light operation.

Awesome advice from the both of you. Just took it off and my volt/ohm meter is telling me you are correct. I'll try adjusting it tomorrow and update if that fixes it. Didn't realize the bolt holes on it were slotted till I had it off. Thanks!

Yep, that fixed it! Took a while to get the adjustment right, but shifts great and the light went off.

Weird that they made it in such a way that a heavy stomp on the brake could leave you sol on a battlefield. I had to move it down my driveway without cranking it a while back and I'm almost sure my stomping the brake (probably should have used more handbrake) was what caused the switch to move.
