That makes it a utility set push the button in the side of the knob and push it into make gross adjustments down or push the button and pull to make gross adjustments up turning the knob counter clockwise and clockwise make fine adjustments with no load set it to about 61-62 Hertz using a digital multimeter on the output don't rely on the set gauge they're not exactly the most precise things and let it be as the load increases the motor will droop so keep an eye on it you may have to play with it a little bit anywhere between 58 to 62 is a safe range to run 60 being ideal
I put the digital multimeter on it and it’s putting 60 -61 hz same as the gauge. By the way what do I need to do if the engine droops? Would I turn the voltage up a tad or let it be?

It would be frequently that droops, if needed adjust it as needed. Beware though when the load lightens it will go the other way

10/4 I may just try to see if I can get it in a safe range and let it be if possible. Wonder how many kw I sacrificed since it’s been converted.

That subject is one that tends to start a huge flame war. Let's just say that you have enough overhead on that set you won't have to worry about maxing her out.
