M1081A1 won’t shut off

The truck will turn on fine but the only way to turn it off is by pulling out the xmsn ecu cat ecm circuit breaker.. also while running the panel is Christmas lighting.. any solutions on this problem.. will be very much appreciated

You are saying when you turn off the ignition switch, absolutely nothing happens? Did someone flip some of the switches under the cab? What specifically does “panel is Christmas lighting” mean? Flashing on and off? Every idiot light lit?

Well the Christmas lighting is most likely an alternator issue, but still can’t figure out why the truck won’t power off and none of the switches are up from under he cab.. and yes I am saying that absolutely nothing happens when I flip the ignition switch or even disconnect the battery

I would start by unplugging the under cab switch panel to eliminate it from being a cause. I think that can be done.

well I just ended up disconnecting the ECU and connecting it back and it worked again. Thanks for the replies
