Two M911 Questions

First, when you search the rear brake chamber part number (1539930), is that what's inside the case or did it completely replace the old one?

Second, I've been looking at the diagram in the manual of the oversized M816 towing the mini M911. But I've also been looking through the forums seeing how they couldn't really tow anything over the 5 ton since the front will get too light. Question is do you think it could do the job if the front had more counterweight like some M936 wreckers?

Yes it would tow it just fine with weight boxes like the 900 series have. Especially with the boom all the way in and the tires just barely off the ground. My 816 would pick up the front of a HET and move it around without issue . The 11.00 tires keep the center of gravity pretty low and keep it from wanting to raise the front up.

The brake chambers that mgm made are just a design they used back then. You can use a standard type 3030 brake can that is common these days

Thanks. Might get a M816 in the future for the small collection I might amass by accident.:)
