GL is getting a lot faster: GL sent me the EUC on the 29th, I sent it back on the 30th and GL sent it to Battle Creek on the 2nd. This is my second EUC so it should be a lot quicker this time(first one took 42 days).

Here are some pictures of the M1028A3's in Ohio. Road trip in a few weeks I hope.

I did not see them listed on GL recently either. When was the auction. They look like they are in great shape, what is the mileage. Etc..

Last nice unit I saw was a year or so ago, it went for $4k

What did these 2 go for.

Good luck,
Thanks,

Did you get both? I follow GL, and I did not see them. Interested in selling one?
Yes, I won both of them.
I didn't see them until one day before the sale started (24th of Dec) It was a little weird, I had just browse the GL category under 'Trucks" and didn't see them. I then looked at the sales event calendar that was starting the next day and there they were.
I might be selling one before I go back to Iraq in July. But not sure if I will.

Well, half of the road trip is complete, that is I picked up one of the M1023A3 on 15th and got it home safely. I had picked up the other one on the 16th and left it in Michigan at my brothers house in Hillsdale (this will be the second road trip) It has a bad starter and the lights don't work.
It was snowing and the temp got to -17(-5 when i picked up the trucks)

If anyone is looking for one(M1028A2), check GL in Ohio. ends on the 22nd.
I looked at it on the 16th and if I had the money it would be mine:cry:. only bad things I saw was the drivers door and the master cyl leak.
The guy at GL told me it ran.

Greetings Phil. I missed this thread up till today. Both are awesome but I really like the one with the steel topper. Question, did you tote that car up from FL? I passed you on the turnpike a while back and you were headed north with some type of car on the trailer.

Ya, that was me. My mom passed away last Saturday in Michigan. I rented a car to use in Mich and to follow me back to FL(my son went with me and my daughter flew into Detroit). Both drove the car back. Good thing, I blow three tires on my trailer and used the car to get new ones.

I'm picking up the CUCV-II Friday in Tampa at 09:00 am. They just told me it doesn't have a key.

I worked on the all green truck today, replaced batteries, installed new 24 volt starter and checked the fluids. It started right up. both Alt are charging, all lights work inside and out so I drove it around the block. Its one bad a** truck. engine is strong, brakes are good. only problem I see is a small transmission leak at the shifter lever( o-ring should fix that). Me very:-D:-D:-D

Anyone know what the M1023A2 sold for in Ohio today? last bid I saw was $4,300.00

Phil, I have a call into a friend at a dealer to see if a key code can be generated from a VIN.

I went to the GM dealer(parts dept) He said I had to have the title before he could get me a key($50.00 plus $8.00 for the key) I'm leaving for Tampa at 4:00 am. Looks like I'll try something at the shift lever on the trans to get it into neutral or drop the drive shaft so I can winch it on the trailer.
