Questions; what are the differences, do they use the same regulator? They are both 10KW gensets, is it just a matter of age/upgrade? I have the manuals for the SF unit and would like to know if they apply to the MEP too.

Thanks,

Same difference Bjorn. I have one of the changes to the paper manuals that indicate to cross out SF-10-MD and put MEP-018A. From what I understand there are 3 different regulators used on the genset. One is an open frame and that is reportedly the repairable one. The genset in question has one of these. I also have a different design that hasn't been tested. Thats yours too. Also, the open frame regulators are the same on 3, 5 and 10KW sets.
