Need Help Identifying plug just before transmission

Greetings all- I've checked the boards about 15 pages back just to make sure that I'm not asking a question that's already been brought up.

Anyway, I've been looking through my manuals (about 12 of them) and cannot find exact info on what I'm looking for.

I own a '69 Jeep Kaiser M35-A2. On the engine side of my transmission there are two plugs at the very bottom (side by side). One is missing and I am not sure how to ID what this plug would be called (I'd like to replace it)- and I'm assuming I'll just need to refill the tranny fluid after I put the plug back in place??? Any help would be appreciated- thank you kindly.... I've used the attachment option in this to add some pictures (I'm still trying to figure out how to add pics to my threads- if someone can explain that-I'll be happy to include them in my post)

Sincerely,
Jerome

That is normal, just like it is. The plug on the passenger side of the hole (Storage Position), goes in the hole when you do water crossings (fording).

It is for deep water fording. It will keep moisture from the clutch when the plug is moved to the open hole. There is no hole in the other, just a place to hold the plug.
