First I need to Thank Powerhousedeuce, Atankersdad, and Hedelta. Between borrowing the tow bar, using Hedelta's truck to tow with and organizing the trip it couldn't have went any smoother!!!

I attached 3 pictures from our trip before we pulled out of Meade. There were loads of new parts on the truck, and a stash of goodies locked in the toolbox.

Did they actually let you drive up to the trucks.....or did they make you walk up there?

Apparently, now if you go to preview, you have to WALK from the GL building 1/4 mile up that hill to the lots. No more driving! aua

Good looking truck! Looks like you need some replacement bows ;)

dm22630 - Since we towed the truck out, they let us drive up there
- the last bow leg was snapped off. easy fix.

Recovery4x4 - We found the following in the tool box and in the cab

- 1 fully charged fire extinguisher
- 3 lug wrenches and handles
- 1 bottle jack and handle
- 1 emergency triangle
- 3 air hoses

Good deal. I almost like the tool box finds better than getting a new truck, well, not really!

Here are a few more pictures from the GL listing. I'll try to snap a few more pictures tonight on my way home from work.

The truck has so many new parts on it that I'm no debating between my original plan to part it out after I get what I want off of it, or selling it all together. It would make a phoenominal starter truck for someone.

Here is the list of new parts I've observed so far.

New mirror assemblies on both sides
New Cargo Cover
New Insulated Soft Top
New (9) Titan Tires w/ teets still there
New passenger side seat
New M66 Ring mount poles

Plus: Full tank of Fuel and a Jerry in the bed with some fuel as well.
and there are brand new bolts , never painted, on all the axle flanges
which would make me believe they were all just maintenanced.

Sorry for the competition... but you know how it is.. you get one.. then you want two... and it never stops!!!

All 3 legs and one alignment plate. Nut and U-Bolts are brand new and never painted that hold them on and the paint is only scuffed from where they put them on.

What batteries to buy?

I snapped 3 pictures before the rain started coming down again.
I pretty sure I'm not going to part it out. Hopefully today I can get down to the battery shop and get two batteries for the old girl. Since I forgot to look at myown truck last night when I parked it at the shop:

What id everyone using for the batteries these days in their truck?
