The CAGE code says it was Jeep Corp but that code went into effect in 1972. My deuce was built in 69. From what I can learn, that means it built by Kaiser-Jeep, so that is what I'm going with, unless anyone has any other ideas.

We haven't recovered the Deuce yet, but I have been trying to get as much information together as I can. Through searching this and other threads, which directed me to the DRMS website, I have located the following document: (Hope it shows up)

There are handwritten numbers on the form (in the middle), which appear to follow the VIN and Reg # formats. Is this what I think it is?

Also, any other information that can be gathered would be greatly appreciated.

If that is a copy of the automated DD Form 1348 for your truck and it has the serial number/reg num, AND you're sure it's your truck, then we're good to go. Just type in the info here. I can't cut and past the numbers into the database search from a photo.
