Thank you. Please excuse my ignorance but is the registration number a part of the vin number or is the vin simply the serial number? I am trying to straighten out my form 97; I thought GL would correct any information I questioned in my application; they didn't and I am told now that they don't. Thanks again for your help. Once I figure out how to make a donation one will be forthcoming. Ron Woods

Totally separate. Serial number is the vin. Registration number is different and does not play into registering/titling your vehicle with the DMV.
