just got this in my email.:cry::cry::cry: looks like I am going to have to buy any future MVs I have been wanting from ebay or someone here. this sucks. I really wanted that trailer.

The EUC for your Sale number 4197 was sent to DRMS for approval over 45 (forty five) days ago. As of today, no approval has been received, with no reason having been provided to us. Due to length of time with no response, we have cancelled out this sale, at no penalty to you, and will be returning the merchandise to our general inventory.

We appreciate your business, apologize for any inconvenience, and welcome you to bid on future Government Liquidation auctions not requiring an End Use Certificate.

From the Terms and Conditions
End-Use Certificates that are submitted and not approved for property removal within 45 days may lead to the sale being voided at our discretion, and we have the right to dispose of the property at our discretion. Additionally, if a submitted EUC is denied clearance for authorization to release property, we reserve the right to assess liquidated damages to the amount of 25% of the winning bid amount.

(As mentioned above, you WILL NOT be penalized or assessed any default fee for the cancellation of the above mentioned sale.)

Sincerely,

It would be nice if they told you WHY the EUC approval was never granted, instead of just leavng you wondering.

At least you're getting your money back.

Could be it was just lost in a stack of papers somewhere. Try it again and if you have the same results then it's probably a situation you can't fix.

And "me too" - got the same email today, same sale event.

So, what now? Did they decide we're all terrorists, or did they just lose all the paperwork related to this event?

I would call it a paperwork snafu. At least it wasn't denied, just not approved. Like mentioned, try again in a little while with another sale. Maybe the second time will work

Strangely I feel better not being alone.

I got "the letter" and went to DMV to clarify my address (added "Apartment 101") and got a separate phone line. Then I bid again because they did not deny my EUC, just didn't approve it. That should have worked except GL decided I was no longer a citizen of the US and just canceled my purchase several days after I got the bid. They never even sent it in.

Still waiting to see if I can get any love from my local US Senator on the matter. I do want to be a US citizen again.

Ya know, this is not only frustrating but it costs the gov't money! The postman can find me daily, the tax guy sure knows where I am, the city knows exactly where I live and so on. So why can't a high tech goverment specialist find me? And why can't they invest in a simple phone call or email to clear up any confusion their search for me has caused?

Oh well.

It's because THEY are the ONLY kid on the block selling surplus and THEY do whatever THEY want to....(or not do what THEY are supposed to) with no accounting to anyone. Sorry for being so hard but it comes from having had too many of the 'GL experiances" Hope all works out for you in the end:-D

I wish we could find out who screwed up the paperwork. since several of us got the same message, someone must have fallen asleep...or accidentally threw away our paperwork.

oh well. I'll see if they will let me try again in a few months. I really need a M35 for some reason. :-D

it shouldn't have taken too long to get my paperwork back. hell, I have a CCW permit, a federal firearms license, and a Haz-Mat endorsement on my CDL. all those background checks came back really quickly.

dont ya just love the government paper pushers?:razz::-D

Give sales back to DRMO!

They need to give sales back to DRMO. I was talking to the lady's at the DRMO at Nellis AFB, and Barsto. They both said they could sell stuff faster and with less snafu's than GL. Both said it was to save money and reduce man power costs.
