Well not really. It was actually already in my driveway. I want to thank Warthog for parting with this. I went back and forth a number of times before deciding to get it.

Here's some pics. You can see in the original photos that the right fender had a bit of a mishap. Tree, another deuce, forklift, who knows? I was able to do some "field expedient" body work with a jack, track bar, and a BFH but it'll still need a little welding to close the hole up and a couple more love taps with the BFH to get it complete.

We're going to try and have it in the Castroville Independence Day Parade if I can get the brake line switched out and everything bled.

Well Mark, the entertainment value of reading about a recovery from your own driveway is somewhat lacking, but it must be nice to have one go like that for a change!
I knew you couldn't resist the 'big iron' much longer, good catch on that one.

Cheers

Well I have you on speeddial so when my arms wear out and I need someone to turn it around for me. Now if I could just figure out how to get your heater in it for a delivery...

Its always good to see that others are still inflicted with the disease I have had for a while now! Big trucks are FUN!

Wow that was a tough recovery. We will keep the wifes out of it for now .

And we have another satisfied Deuce owner.

Here is another angle of the bad fender.

Mark, if you're referring to a personnel heater for the deuce, let me assure you, it's not really necessary in this part of the country.

No I have a 250k BTU Gasoline Duct Heater (approx 500lbs) that belongs to Rory. I was going to put it in the back of my '95 Dakota but it almost killed it and unless I'm mistaken, the tailgate on the deuce is a little higher.
