Radio Rack power wire question - M1009

I do not plan on installed a .mil radio.

I would like to install a few 12v item on the rack.

I have looked in the TM's for info on the power cable and how it is wired
into the truck. I would like to rewire it for 12vdc only.

Can someone point me in the right direction on doing this?

I would just run a new line from the fuse box but if you just have to use the radio power supply why not break out a multimeter? I am fairly sure there are two 12V lines running into it to get the original 24V.

Just move the positive feed for the rear strip from the terminal strip on the firewall to either the 12 volt point near the glow plug relay or to the negative on the rear battery.
