3KW Robin Genset Part

I got a couple of the small 3kw Gen set with a one cylinder Robin diesel engine. Each had the oil drain plug and oil filter/screen missing. If anyone has a scrap Robin Diesel engine laying around I would like to buy the plug and filter from it! I am looking for new parts but some used spares would be good, even entire engines would be OK!

I think the filters/screens are reusable too, James. Did an oil change on mine recently and put in a new filter. You can have the one I took out if you want, I'm sure it's still in the garage someplace. The genset got another few dozen hours put on it at deer camp a couple weeks ago. That baby just keeps on going. There is a place in Farmington Hills, MI that I order my parts from. The contact info should be posted in a previous thread.

Armada, I would like the used one to replace the filter I pulled out of my scrap engine, I have copied all the info. from the thread you started last year, also Neil H. is sending me his parts contact and a copy of the civi.manual he has. I am interested in the electronic compression bypass, I think it is locked open on one of my gensets since it will produce plenty of thick diesel vapor but no compression.

OK, here is the link to the engine repair center. They are in Ferndale MI, not Farmington. I have used them for ordering oil filters, fuel filters, gaskets, repair work, etc. Good company. It is near Selfridge AFB. There is an older mechanic there that works on the 3k diesel wis-rob gensets for them, so he is familiar and also has an original military TM.

I believe the Engine Center in Ferndale, Michigan is out of business. I found their telephone number(248-399-0002), but it has been disconnected and the website is also down. I wonder what happened to their parts and manuals.
