CUCVs pulled from GL...

Anybody know what's going on? Every CUCV I've clicked on has been pulled from G.L. in the last day or two...

No, I wonder if it has to do with them being a "M" series truck? Crossing my fingers they don't take the M1008 I won last week away from us. Papers are still being processed and it is a nice truck.

It probably has something to do with the Deuces getting pulled for radiation. They will probably put out a bulletin soon or something.

Maybe something happened concerning a specific GL site but it ain't affecting the rest of the nation.

The CUCV was a commercial design. They didn't have radioactive guages but it does sound like a good rumor to start. LOL

There are 3 big slugs on GL now and there are a lot more to come.

Word I'm getting is they were recently deemed UNSAFE for being too small.

i think its a scare tactic, they pull them all, make people worry, then relist them all like nothing happened, and the prices go up.

Maybe, as part of the bail out of the auto industry, our politicians are working with the big three auto manufacturers on this so we are forced to buy new trucks.

I think more may be coming. I have a buddy of mine that works for the Army Corps of Engineers who said they were supposed to get five CUCVs. However about 2 weeks before they were supposed to get them they were told to just purchase new trucks instead. I guess it's that stimulus money.

I have a friend who is in the Army Reserves and is also a SS member (he does not get online often). Anyway, he said that his unit has many CUCVs that they are still using. They have not received any word to turn them in and they are the main truck that they use on a daily basis.

Looks like the M1009's and M1008's that were listed to be in Crane, In. have been relisted to be in Indianapolis, In.

GL heard that there was still some Cash For Clunkers payola out there so they've been turned in toward the purchase of new GL company cars...... worth more as CLUNKERS than as auctionable inventory.
