Deuces were designed and production started in late 49/early 50. My M48 is a 1951. I know MACCUS's M34 is also a 1951. I have seen a 51 M109 and several other 1951 M34's. Does anyone have a 1950 or possibly a late 1949 model?

How do the serial numbers work. I have a 52 XM211 # 2742. Is the numbering started on the contract date, the year, or the month. 2742 is kinda low and the lowest I have seen on the site but I am kinda new at this.

Along these lines, the Orignal M34 was named The Eager Beaver by REO. Does anyone have a copy of the EAGER BEAVER LOGO??? Or know where to find it?

Kudo's on a good thread topic for those of us interested in the preservation aspect of the MV Hobby.

The XM211 is a totally different truck than the G742's. The serial numbers (at least for the G742's) changed several times through their production. I am not sure of the GMC's serial numbers.

The G742 based trucks are the topic of this thread.
