I have several brush guards, stand off brackets, and "pull through prevention" plates for the deuce bed. I don't have the sugar scoop or the antenna. PM me if interested.

I am glad to see this thread. What about the slightly newer M35A2C drop site or the M36A2 which is right side drop only?

Inquiring minds need to know. Need to mount one on my drop side too.

sugar scoop

I am pretty sure I have a loose sugar scoop type antenna mount, but I will have to look at work.

I know I have one with a shop van still attached to it I would like to let go of.

Well, I acquired an antenna for my deuce. Looks like I will need to mount it like in the first pic cause I use my drop side alot. Does anyone know if I will be able to tie the antenna backward? It looks like it would be in the way of the door if I tied it to the front.

Looks like it could be tied backwards if the headache rack were removed.

I'm going to run into the same problem on my M35-A2C. The drop-side doesn't make antenna mounting for HF comms any easier.

Gimpy,
I have mine on the front of my bed on the passenger side because I have a dropside also.
I tie mine down to the pass. side lifting shackle but roll down the window a little first if I am going to need to use the passenger door. It clears ok with the window down about 1/2 way if I recall.

Hmm, looks like I may need that extra stand off mount for the sugar scoop. Do you guys have any experience with "non-standard" mounting locations? (ie. not the front or sides of the truck bed)

I went little different with mine I saw a picture a long time ago of a truck in country using a bracket off a M151 I like it because it gets the antenna high and out of the way. I have secne them mounted on the side of the bed, on the inside of the front bumper and on a pole behind the cab like the yellow lights mount.

A few Pictures. Pics are always good
DrGreg, does that antenna clear the fuel tank/middle tire when the bed side is dropped?
