I switched over from a soft top to a hard top and now the side windows hit the top of the roof on the back side. it looks like the window is tilted towards the back. are the window tracks adjustable?

Hi, you could remove the inspection panel on the door and lower the window. You may find one of the window regulator has a arm that has popped out of it's track. 2 tracks on the bottom of the window frame and one up near the top. The upper one you need to check by feel or with a mirror. There are stops at front and rear of the side windows, down near the bottom of the frame. they are somewhat adjustable to stop the window from going up too far. JT

I need to address the hight limit on mine. I need to do like someone else here did and cut an old one apart to understand it completely. They are really tight, to try and figuire out with mirrors and feel. luckily I have a old door to dissect.

The height seems fine but the window seems to tilt or lean towards the rear, if I replace the felt tracks that the window rides in, would that straighten out the window? It does have some movement but there should be some kind of adjustment to keep the glass square

Nope.

Check the window regulator for bent or twisted arms. Very little out of shape, it affects correct window position a lot.

I just changed a door on a truck. I did not make any window adjustments, but when I lubed the regulator, it clearly looked like there was an adjustment(front and back) for window "tilt". It looked like you could adjust either end about 1/2-3/4"(I did not inspect it that close).

I would simply remove the inner door panel, and roll the window down and look at the mechanism. I would bet you will clearly see what I saw and be able to make the adjustments you need to correct your window fit.
