Does anyone know where the best deal is for Trucklite rear composite LED lights? I am tired of messing with surplus ones that don't work properly and am going to suck it up and buy new ones, it's going to hurt...

I am specifically looking for part number 07240, OD green, rear, no bucket. Anyone know who works on them? If they are serviceable at all??

I'll get back to you. A buddy of mine just got a catalologue from one of his suppliers, and I'll try post the source. The USA link will be cheaper, but I think that he has both.
The Hummer refurb kit appearantly has been ordered for our M-135. COOL!
If I forget, PM to remind me.

Yes, Grainger has them. Page 940 in the newest catalog.

For OD shells-
Black out lights- $93
Tail lights- 158.00
Frong turn- 183.00
Without bucket- about $20 less

Hmm, tan ones are slightly higher prices. Wonder why? Gouging perhaps?

Those prices jibe with what I have been seeing online from other sellers, THANKS! I will look into the Grote units, but I already have aluminum buckets for the Truck-Lites and there may be compatibility issues.

I got the set on eBay that was previously mentioned, they are Grote brand, will report when I have them installed, thanks for all the help! I will try kublos when my back account recovers, I eventually would like to have three complete set.

Here is the Grote wish book. Grote Industries: Military Lighting and Products any one who carries it can order it for you. Unless there is local demand..... you wait. The quality is there, I use many of their products. Try going to NAPA, and talk to the most experienced counter man. Just quote the Grote part number listed on the cat that I have linked up and get out your credit card. I have yet to see the price list, but at least I get jobber prices from them. Try all your local suppliers and see who will hurt you the least on mark-up. Don't take any BS about special order. It's a paid in advance order and they are not at any financial risk. It will just come in with their next order. NAPA is next day!

Good luck, and I hope that this helps.

I got the lights I bought off eBay last week, the fronts turned out to be Truklite OmniVolts and the rears are made by Riverside, they all appear to be new. The Riversides appear to be a copy of the Grote design. I installed the rears on my trailer the other night, they fit right on the military aluminum buckets. I have a fault in my truck's wiring that is causing a brake light malfunction but otherwise the lights are working, and working well!
