The M54A2 negotiating the local village note the quiet cab due to lining of lead and foam strips. also doors under hood and inside the hardtop. it is possible to converse while driving..unlike in my wrecker where we use an intercom! Both trucks have whistling turbo's. great. Note also the view as it is on 1600 radials. it is fitted with a praga radio body now. great looks great fast camper.

Your truck sounds beautiful in addition to looking great... pretty neat to see a different part of the world through a familiar perspective!

Beautiful truck. I love the multifuel 5 tons. Most guys don't appreciate them because they got into the hobby after most had already come out. When you say "5 ton" to most guys, they think about the M809 series. While the M809 series trucks are great, the older multifuels are less appreciated. Everyone and their brother has an M818, M813, M816, or (most common models); few guys on this list has an M51, M52, M54, M543, etc. (me included right now, by the way!). I love that turbo!

I love the "ole flatgrilles". When I was at Ft. Hood in the mid to late 80's there were still quite a few. Now they are getting harder to find.

I loved the vid. Nice perspective from your cab. I love the narrow roads. Reminds me of driving M1 tanks through the narrow streets in the little German villages.

Great vid!! Would be great for others to post vids of their rides on the idea that not all of us can have a big truck like that. Acually that idea could apply to Jeeps and Dodges as well !!
Whats the price of fuel over there ?? That must be an expensive truck to drive over there.
