My New 79 Jeep toy.

I was pretty bummed out after the city made me sell my duce. After a year long mourning my hubby found a replacement truck for me. Now I know its not my big green meanie but it has the heart needed. We are in the rebuilding stages and here is some picks showing the progress. Hubby did the trans, transfer case, all the brakes, new tires, shocks, front and rear axles, newer leather power seats, new suspension, new 40 gal fuel tank, turned front leaf spring shackels around and welded them in place for better steering, new steering box, tie rods, 3 inch lift, complete engine over haul 30 over. RV cam, new 4 core rad, new AC system. Does my hubby love me or what? Kalen

The Nazi state of Los Angeles Kalifornia. Zig hile. They said that I could not keep it at my mountain home. I would have to pay storage fees. If I didn't remove it they would sue me in court. MY taxes hard at work.

I love old Jeeps, what size engine? Have you checked the rear quarters for rust?

We got her running. PURRRRRRR. found a crack in the RH exhaust man and leak in steering pump but all's well. The replacement part's may set us back a week but we are working around that.
