Ether injection

I have been having a hard time starting my deuce in the cold weather even with the ether injection. Everytime I try to use it and it doesn't start a few minutes later I have a strong ether odor in the cab. Today I went out and took the line off the manifold and was sprayed in the face with ether. I assumed the line was frozen shut so I removed the fitting that goes into the manifold. I don't know if I'm not looking at this right or if something magically happens when the ether comes into contact with it but this thing looks more like a probe than a nozzle. I don't see any place for the ether to come out of it. I am posting pics of what I have and sorry they aren't the best. Any help would be appreciated.

The opening is on the side of the tip. It needs to be indexed to spray IN TO the intake manifold, when assembled. I think the hex head has a mark on it to identify the spray direction.

Try spraying some carb cleaner into it.

Hope this is more helpful than your text size info you shared with me in chat earlier.

Well after lots of cleaning and soaking and a safety pin through the finger I have found the hole. It's all cleaned out and works great now. Truck started on the first spin.

Thank you DH.

With a bit of searching on this site, you should find several threads that list manufacturers and where to buy kits.
