What holds the ends in the dog bones. how hard are they to replace?

And don't forget the additional weight and lack of ride that a 5 ton set of springs are going to give you.I wonder how much 5 ton bogie assemblies without axles go for. From my understanding they are identical in design as the Deuce, just bigger. I think a 5 ton bogie with Deuce axles could be a viable solution to run large tires such as 53"?
NICE! things like that are very sweet to find ... I lost one in some deep mud and woods a few years ago, I pushed it back in the hole used a rachet strap to hold it there and 6 wheeled the rest of the day no prob, sure is nice to have a new set, I do not think they go all that often though...I am lucky. The SD Nat. Guard replaced all 6 on my deuce sometime before it was sent to GL. They don't have a single speck of rust or scratch on the paint.
