It's a pretty common occurrence for people, esp retired military, to think my m35 is a 5 ton. I guess it looks a lot bigger next to civi cars than it does at the motor pool. I know I was sad the first time I saw it at the gl lot and of course there was an 813 with oversized tires 10 feet away.

Had a cop who was former army think it was a 10 ton... I got a giggle outta that.

Talked to the person responsible for the truck yesterday. They are planning to drive it from DFW to Louisanna tomorrow. However, they are having brake problems. I told them to have Memphis Equipment next day air everything that it could possibly be, so that they could have the parts when they get around to looking at it today..............

It would be nice if we could give them a list of all the members along the way, just in case. As I understand it, time is their biggest concern. They only have a few days..............

I was wondering if they got the brakes fixed and got this rig on the road. So am I understanding this right, the paint job was done within the last few days and the brakes hopefully just fixed?
