sure you can!!! ok my art teacher knows me perty well... and theres an upcoming banquet for our vfw....the teacher emailed me and asked if i could do like a dispay peice and have it ready before the first weekend in september....it is going to be a few paragraphs containing stories from veterans across the big water, and ones who are long since retired.....i am using parts to explain and connect the stories into life.....like the pistons and CONNECTING rods are going to show the connection between man and machine....(vehicle and weapon) and the shackles, show what a litttle thing can do such a big job, just as one man can do for his country... and i will post pics when i get her done....i have 2 threads to hopefully get a faster rate of replies...in turn gives me a larger canvas to display more parts....imean bigger is better right??? ) any more ?S from anyone...im glad to answer

I wish you the best of luck on your project, but if I were you , I may want to have a few alternative plans in place in case enough parts don't come your way. For instance internet research and printing pictures of the parts you feel convey the message you want to convey. The sky would be the limit then on what you could show, like tank parts, Humvee, HEMTT, ect , ect. Just a thought if you are having trouble getting parts in such a short time.

Another alternative might be 6.2 Liter diesel parts from a local salvage yard. That was the engine that powered CUCV's. You might be able to buy them cheaper then heavy parts can be shipped. Again best of luck. Dean
