2 Girls & A Tank
Hello,
The truck in the background is a 1918 WWI Liberty truck. It belongs to the Oregon Military Museum. We restored it several years ago. Pretty much everthing that was wood was reproduced including the steam bent top bows. The Liberty truck runs and participates in a few parades during the year. We had Howard Ramsey 107 years old, the last known WWI Veteran in the Liberty while it was running before he passed away. Here is the story: G503.com Message Forums • View topic - WWI Liberty Truck & WWI Veteran Reunited!
We used the Oregon Military Museum's Liberty truck to take Howard Ramsey to his final resting place: http://s12.zetaboards.com/The_Trench_Line/topic/128367/1/
wsucougarx,
If your referring the Annual Military Show & Sale, we have not had it at Camp Withycombe for 3 years. We have it in conjuction with the big gun show at the Expo Center in July. Next year will be 27-29 July at the Expo center. (same place as the 2008 MVPA Convention was held.
Thansk,
Steve
